Austin has extensive experience in accounting and financial operations across technology, manufacturing. and consumer product industries. He specializes in:

• Acquisition integration activities including financial systems migration, treasury consolidation, operational enhancements, establishment of FP&A, and build-out of internal teams
• Transaction-related accounting including opening balance sheet and final net working capital calculations
• Development of accountability and automation of financial close process, reducing close timeline by over 50%
• Financial reporting, KPIs, and consistent reporting packages for executive team, board of directors, and lenders
• Relationship management with lenders, external audit/tax firms and ERP service providers
• Management of financial reporting, tax, FP&A, treasury, strategic planning, supply chain finance, procurement, insurance and information technology, including MSPs

Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Austin held controller and senior finance management positions at leading firms across manufacturing, technology, and consumer products. Most recently, he led the accounting integration of the roll up of three technology companies: including accounting systems and treasury consolidation, setting up financial reporting packages for the PE sponsor and lender, and building out the internal team. During Covid-19, Austin helped a manufacturing company bridge the gap between finance and operations to greatly reduce cash conversion cycle via renegotiated supplier terms and data-driven procurement strategy, as well as establishing both financial and operational KPIs.
